Reception Blue

Welcome to Reception Blue

Meet the teacher

Hello!! My name is Mrs. Williams and I will be your class teacher in Reception Blue next year. I am so excited to be writing this letter to you and I cannot wait to meet you and show you your new classroom. Mesne Lea is an amazing place to be, full of wonderful staff, children and opportunities and everyone here is helpful, polite and most importantly, friendly.

Every day in Reception is a fantastic adventure, full of fun, friendship and laughter. I know we will work hard together to learn lots of exciting new things and be the best we can be in every way possible. One of our favourite ways to learn in Reception is outdoors, whatever the weather, so don’t forget to bring your wellies and your raincoats! If there is anything that you particularly enjoy doing or want to learn about then make sure you tell me so we can all find out and learn together.

Just so you know who I am, I will tell you a little bit about myself. I have 2 children of my own and we love to do lots of things together like; walking in the hills, going to the cinema, cycling and going to the beach. Do you enjoy doing any of those things with your grown-ups too? I cannot wait to find out about your hobbies and all of the interesting things you do!

I am definitely looking forward to seeing you in September for the start of a wonderful year together.

See you soon,

Mrs Williams
